Nutrients from the Food We Eat are “Food” for Our Cells
I was happy to share that we all have to keep in mind that our 30 trillion cells, that the adult body is comprised off, do get replaced at a rate of about 1 % daily. It is estimated that we create about 2.5 million red blood cells every second. It is at the cell level, that nutrient rich foods form the basis of good health. Nutrients from the food we eat are “food” for our cells!
raw materials from which new cells are created, and
compounds that protect cells from damaging effects that could endanger their ability to function properly.
If your diet does not provide all the nutrients necessary for cellular health, if the 2.5 million red blood cells produced each second do not get the necessary nutrients they need, they will be undernourished unhealthy cells. This may form the base for reductions of physical functioning and can start reduced energy and vitality, which can onset a host of health conditions and illnesses.
